South Surrey Kitchen
I was approached by a couple in South Surrey who wanted a kitchen renovation done. The wife is from Sweden so Ikea had to be the cabinet supplier. Before the cabinets were ready to go in there was some major work to be done. First a couple walls had to come down then the Dining room window came out and the opening was expanded to accommodate French doors with 2 side light windows and the original backdoor was filled in to create a new space for the fridge
Walls were taken down and an island was added in
First the ceiling was supported temporarily then a new beam was put in place
The new French doors were installed by Doors Galore and then new siding was used to eliminate any unwanted seams
A couple of the finishiing touches. The backsplash consists of multi coloured tiles that were laid out on the counter first to create a pattern. The floor vent under the pantry includes a box under the cabinet to direct the heat out through the vent
